I do at work. At home, after 24 years of marriage, I realised how many small systems had been shared without either of us really talking about them.
When I moved out I had furniture and a decent job, but no routine. I would buy food with good intentions, throw half of it away, miss small deadlines, and spend weekends either cleaning everything or doing nothing.
I started with the assessment and it was slightly uncomfortable because the weak areas were obvious. Home was acceptable. Admin was a mess. Social life was basically work and the occasional call with my brother. I followed the seven-day plan without trying to improve every part at once.
Three weeks later, I have a basic meal list, one place for paperwork, a cleaner flat and two evenings a month blocked out to see people. I also replaced clothes I had been wearing for years because they were simply there.
This did not solve the divorce, and it is not pretending to. It helped me build a normal week again. For me that was worth much more than the price.
